Laura-Ann Hunter - Photographer

Laura-Ann Hunter is a photographer and artist whose practice spans digital photography, alternative process, and cyanotype animation. Her recent projects examine cultures that value color as a living archive carrying forward the richness of traditions and collective memory across generations. Her visual narratives move beyond straightforward documentation, instead creating vivid and evocative images weaving color, geometry, and negative space into compositions telling stories of people, places, and everyday life. 

 

Laura-Ann was an International Photography Award winner in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Laura-Ann earned her Bachelor of Science from the University New Hampshire and is completing her Master of Fine Arts at the Academy of Art University. She resides in Marin County, CA, just north of San Francisco.
